वंदे मातरम फेस्टिवल 18 August
After the well preparation and planning the Vande Mataram Festival was very good and everyone enjoyed being there.
There were lots of prices, lots of games and songs.
The best part of the evening was a skit "Gadar Ek Sofware Engineer ki Prem Katha".
It was basically a software version of the film "Gadar". Many plots showcasing scenarios from onsite-offshore model, developer-manager quarrel and rarely found love story within software industry were very well organized which left all the audience laughing.
I was also part of this skit, thankfully I had a very small role. But I have for sure realized that acting is very difficult. I mean you can talk lots of things in front of so many people during normal day to day life. But portraying a character exactly how it should be is tough. But we had few guys in our team who were overall confident doing such acts and hence was not a problem. I learnt from them and tried my best and could manage to say few lines as expected.
Tricky part is when you actually forget a dialogue on the stage and you can do nothing about it. And you say some thing else than what was written in script. The other person in the plot manages and synchronizes with you keeping the plot same as expected. (I don't know if i am able to explain it properly).
Overall it was good experience organizing and acting in such a skit. More than that we actually enjoyed lot during are practice session.

Planning for Independence Day Festival
Far away from home land we need an event where everyone can gather,party and enjoy.
This time it is Independence Day Festival. Our team is organizing an event "Independence Day Festival" on 18th August. That is because we don't have holiday on 15th August. In general such an event is nothing but getting together with your family and friends in Zurich, cracking some jokes, lots of boozing, lots of dance and then at last dinner. Thas why some us call this event as "Independence Rock".
This time we (yes i am part of the organizing team)are trying to achieve some thing different than normal drink and dance. We want to make it more lively where everybody participates and contributes to the evening and not just sit and watch other. We have planned few activities. Lets see how it works out.
A small skit is one of the item on the agenda.
It is very funny. I wont reveal it here, but just a hint it is bollywood movie and software industry mix up.
For the first time i am participating in some kind of a skit. I am very afraid to act in a skit. I think i cant portray any other character than myself :). I mean when i think about that it seems easy but when I think rethink about it then i find it difficult, very difficult.
Well I am trusting my co-participants and lets see how they make me act.

why i am here?
Hi,
Well I thought of scrubbing down my thoughts but was never able to.
And even if I did i could not gather them all togther. And then i realized that this is the best place where everything should go.
